MAPBM Project
MAPBM is a tool for managing PBM programs, reducing transfusion rate and improving health safety and results.
An analysis tool for hospitals that enables users to assess the maturity of a hospital’s transfusion practices and to facilitate the management of improvements so as to prevent unnecessary or avoidable transfusion.
It allows the hospital to carry out continuous assessment and to monitor the level of deployment and scope of its PBM Program, results and benchmarking.

It is based on a maturation matrix that includes the four aspects necessary for all transformation processes, organised into a control panel that shows the main PBM quality indicators and is linked to results for transfusion, mortality, stay, complications and re-entries.
